Had a pretty good summer, mostly because I've gotten to do a lot of theater-related things, and was relatively busy.
We're opening another show on Thursday, it's steampunk burlesque. It's gonna be rad.
Being able to do what you love is really the best thing. That makes me happy.

I went on a walk, and the sun was setting and the farmers were irrigating their potatoes and wheat and it smelled so lovely outside. I remembered why I like it here sometimes Also, the attractive nurse at my mom's diabetes clinic totally glanced to check me out.

VACATION!
Bestie got married yesterday. Only 3 days in and have barely slept. Loved my hotel room bed. At airport going to San Diego. Gonna see Weird Al tomorrow.

Aw yay NYC! I miss it too. Are you gonna be there for the muse concert too?
Woooow so belatedly but I was there for three days, bought my dress, arrived early at the event, started talking to someone who turned out to be there to interview Dmitry, got to be there for his interviews and photoshoot, had a lovely chat with him and headed home. Interestingly enough, my very good friend Steph (who was there when I met him) saw him a couple days later at the queue for Muse!
As you guys know, though, a lot has happened since then. I did an interview with him and he was nice enough to come to my book signing.
But anyway... very late follow up on all of that HAHA
God I want to be back in NYC more than anything in the world right now.

One of my best friends from Australia whom I met when I did my semester in Raleigh is coming to Europe in less than a month so I should see him in Paris with other people from our group of friends and then he should come to my house and we might go to Amsterdam.
Then in August, another friend from Raleigh is coming to France for a couple of weeks, and around the same time, ANOTHER American friend who was in my class in senior high should be visiting too. It's so great!!

Had a pretty good bday, even though by kid standards it could be considered boring...I mean, the most exciting thing was getting a rather short line for a driver's license renewal! Success!
Also, having an iPad mini is pretty NOICE.

Yeah I have those, they're so fun but SO hard to find. They were literally the only ones in the entire Lenscrafters store that didn't look absolutely absurd on me.

I'm happy because I sold two (albeit extremely tiny) pieces and also there is a babe next door I can always bother those two things are not related but YEAH

I'm getting new glasses ;D
my vision has gotten real nasty the past few months, I think it's because I've been using my phone too much. :( but w/e, NEW GLASSES!! I can't wait for that HD feeling.

I don't have any assignments for another month and a bucketload of time to study for exams.
I'm going to waste all of those opportunities, but it's nice to know I have them.

I love seeing my dog when I come home from work. I don't get to spend as much time with her, so she's SO FREAKIN' HAPPY to see me.
She was so happy to see me she inadvertently frenched me when I picked her up as she licked my face. lol

my sister was going through her old stuff and she texted me pictures of Valentines cards and stuff I'd sent her. I used to spell "would" "whild".

I got to choose the wardrobe and makeup (literally, I got to style it... SO FUN!) and was there when the pics were taken so direct everyone. It came out soooo cool. And this time I didn't even have to design it myself :P

I'm happy because I got to FINALLY see the cover for my book that's coming out in October, while I was over at my boss' house. Hopefully I can share it soon. She made it sound like I'd have it the other day but... SOON I HOPE!!!!

Apparently my work has hired another new person for my department. This makes me happy because I won't have too many guilt issues for when I leave in the summer.

I got a burrito from a taco truck for lunch. Then we listened to Blondie and Buddy Holly on the drive home. Fridays are the best :)

A friend who's been running for Student Union president in my college has really good chances of winning. (they're still counting)
We also had a referendum for making the Union a pro-choice organisation, the YES side won in a landslide (and on international women's day! woop!)
Election week here has been so exciting. Lots of people here get sick of it very quickly which I can get but I've loved the atmosphere around here. Also some self-obsessed idiots who've been running for other positions lost and lost badly which I also enjoy. ;D
My sister's walking around again which makes me very happy.
Plus things are going well with a lady friend. ;D
Life is good.
