I tried tumblr, and I like it, but I never got super into it because it's just too hard... though it is a great source for photos! I miss The Daily Paul Banks too, that was pretty much my ultimate site ever  :D

How is everyone? I'm doing surprisingly well considering I had barely more than three hours' sleep... give me a couple of hours and I'll be falling asleep in class  :-[ :P
Got El Pintor on low volume/headphones to drown out the noise of other students whilst I read a text for my film history topic, aaand I'm procrastiposting here instead! Wish I could show you guys my campus, it's really beautiful  :) certainly makes studying more pleasant when there's a nice view...

Hey Juvs!  :-*

I'm doing a Bachelor of Arts*, started in late July at the beginning of semester two**, just doing part time this semester and aiming to go full time next year***.  :) Hoping to major/minor/etc in English and film, with as many history and philosophy electives as I'm allowed... also planning to do Spanish, beginning next year****. This semester I'm doing European History 1945-Present and Media Histories (which focuses on film and TV). Media Histories includes a weekly mandatory film screening, and my hot tutor  :P
Sorry for the long, awkward explanation haha! Does it kinda make sense?

Oh and I'm at Flinders University, which is in my hometown.

*I think it's called 'liberal arts' in the US
**mid-year entry is allowed for this degree
***Australian university study year is approx. March to November
****A language diploma can be done in conjunction with most undergrad degrees - takes a bit longer to complete, but you end up with two qualifications

Studying really is better with a good view, but it has its downsides. Distraction from looking out the window being key among them. :P

I agree, I'm already distracted with no view, so when it's beautiful outside the windows, it's almost impossible :D

Hi guys! I'm on Maui. Last day here, extended my stay by a few hours, so yay. :) Going to another island is funny because I know I'm a tourist in my own state, but I still feel this need to look different from people actually from out-of-state. The plain truth is that, YES, I'm a tourist lol.

This trip has been amazing, though.
